Día del Niño

In El Salvador, Children's Day (Día del Niño) is celebrated annually on October 1st. This day is dedicated to the celebration of children and their importance in society, promoting their rights and well-being. Throughout these celebrations, the emphasis is on making children feel valued and loved while raising awareness about their fundamental rights as outlined in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.

 

Through your generous support, we were able to sponsor a Día del Niño celebration for the children of the women in our program in El Salvador. Our partners, Mission to El Salvador, hosted a fun day of games and special treats and shared these joyful photos:
