How To Give

At Free The Girls, we invest in the long-term success and holistic well-being of sex trafficking survivors. Through direct services and strategic partnerships, we provide tools and funding for women to launch new careers, build their own business, access education, and create strong support networks. Our goal is sustainable, generational change — because true freedom needs to last a lifetime.

We receive every single dollar as a committed investment and partnership to see women walk in true freedom.

There is no easy way to predict trends in charitable giving year over year, which presents a challenge for non-profits in long term planning. Having reliable monthly income helps us plan for the future. If you donate annually please consider breaking up your donation into smaller monthly amounts.

Did you know that you can direct your giving to Free The Girls to specific funds?

Free The Girls General Fund --unrestricted giving that allows our team to direct these funds where most needed for the health of the organization and benefit of the women in our program. Please note: we are a volunteer-led organization, so personnel costs are only for in-country contractors and partners who work directly with the women in our program. Select “General Funds Project” in the pulldown menu.

SEMILLA Opportunity Fund – Made possible through a generous endowment from the Charles F and Mary K Huff Legacy Fund, this fund allows women to receive financial assistance in support of furthering their economic independence. From sewing and computer classes to cosmetology kits and food safety certification, the SEMILLA Opportunity Fund ensures that the women in our programs have every advantage as they enter the job force, work to advance in their new chosen career paths, or build a fledgling business of their own. Select “Opportunity Fund” in the pulldown menu.

Tracey Jarzombek Memorial Education Fund – Many of the women in our programs are mothers. Yearly school fees can be difficult to save for as they are embarking in their new careers, and having their children in school allows the women time to participate in the workforce or build their own business. Named for longtime Free The Girls supporter and Board President Tracey Jarzombek, this fund pays school fees for the children of the women in our program, and also supports continuing education for the women themselves as they work towards sustainable economic independence. Select “Education Fund” in the pulldown menu.
