YOUR IMPACT

Your donation provides holistic reintegration services and safe economic opportunities to sex trafficking survivors — not only working to reduce vulnerabilities to re-exploitation but also helping to break generational cycles of exploitation.

THE GOAL OF OUR MODEL IS TRUE FREEDOM – not simply distance from a trafficker. True freedom is nothing less than women walking in wholeness in all areas of her life.

HOLISTIC REINTEGRATION SERVICES

Our programming seeks to assist survivors in key areas of empowerment including financial, physical, emotional, and relational – all of which help ensure freedom for the future. We partner with local organizations who incorporate these elements in their work with the women. Because of our partnerships, we’ve seen survivors begin to thrive. Those who have children are able to pay for their schooling, women are owning their own land or homes, and many are expanding their education.

+ Financial freedom: able to pay off past debts, afford her present, save for her future

+ Physical freedom: having choices about her own body and the ability to access medical care

+ Emotional freedom: feeling safe and able to deal with past trauma as well as dream towards the future

+ Relational freedom: becoming an accepted member of her community, changing the perspective of being viewed as a liability to being an asset

SAFE ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY

The ability to earn a safe income is paramount to preventing re-exploitation. We work directly with the survivors and professionals from specific communities to figure out innovative solutions that work within their specific context. We journey with individuals on the path to restore who they were designed to be- whole, worthy, and powerfully FREE.

This is not a one-size-fits-all model:

The economy in El Salvador is very different than the economy in Costa Rica. The needs of survivors in Mexico look different than what it takes to thrive in Uganda. In fact, trauma can actually present differently based on culture and context as well. We never presume to know what a person or a people group needs, but approach each location with humility and curiosity, asking questions and co-creating initiatives based on the feedback of survivors themselves as well as national citizens of these locations.
